About The Teacher
Jeanne Lippincott holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Bowling Green State University, a Master of Music degree in composition as well as extensive work towards the Doctorate of Music degree at Northwestern University. For seven years before coming to Mississippi, Jeanne was the chair of the Music Theory Department at one of the largest community music schools in the country. There she taught children 5-18 years of age beginning music through college level theory. She moved to Oxford in 1999 with her husband, classical pianist Ian Hominick.
After nine years of teaching Kindermusik exclusively, Jeanne is now offering piano for older children, teens and adults.
