About The Teacher
Carol graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in music performance and later returned to school to earn a Master's degree, also in performance. The majority of her training has been in the classical field and while she has continued to perform classical music, her main love is the singing and playing of Jazz.
A real "people person" and a natural teacher, Carol has resisted teaching piano because she felt that the traditional methods were difficult, slow and basically no fun. She was very excited to discover the Simply Music method and has thrown herself into the program and the process whole heartedly and has become an enthusiastic teacher.
She is now teaching in Traverse City and in the Empire area and loves to talk to anyone interested or curious about Simply Music.
