| "Mr. Moore: I just wanted to write and tell you what a ball I am having with your Learn at Home video series! I am on the fifth song now, and you have already given me what 10 yrs. of failed piano lessons have never given me. Handfuls of music! Any teacher who would trust me on the third song to have a double fist-full of chords, well - that's something! And I love it! My sister-in-law also shares my experience of years and years of adult piano lessons with no pleasurable results. Today she went home from my house stunned, and floating on air, that you could teach her to play a song, hands together, with no music. We were both just convinced that we probably could not do this method. Well, life had just taught us that I guess. But now at this point I am saving up for the Teacher Training program! When I finish the materials here that I have purchased, I will continue all the way. I believe if I started teaching tomorrow I could have 10 students in a week. People want me to teach them this, so I have to be kind of careful about it right now, because I'm not ready to teach. What a wonderful problem! Although I am not quite ready to make that investment of money, I soon will be. It's exciting, and it’s FUN! I have to play my songs many times to get used to them, not because I don't know them, but because I get so excited about playing something that sounds so good, that my hands start shaking! My hands used to shake from nervous fear, and I wouldn't perform for anyone for that reason. I would get so nervous I couldn't see the notes on the page - yes, really – and don't even talk to me about performing from memory! But this music is different. It seems like I can read it right from the piano. I love this, being able to see the music on the piano, being able to watch my hands play it. I could go on and on, but I just wanted you to know that your music has transformed me into a different person. Thank you for doing this." |

| "Dear Mr. Moore: It was a pleasure to talk to you yesterday about the teaching program. I can't thank you enough for developing this program ... it is truly a dream come true for me! When I was in grade school I took piano for 5 years and hated it! Don't get me wrong, I loved the piano...I would sit for hours and listen to the wonderful collection of piano music my dad had. I would dream of playing just like that. But after 5 long years of trying, I figure I just couldn't do it, and put that dream to rest for the next 25 years. These last few months the desire to play the piano has been so strong that I had been considering taking lessons again, but, being a new homeschooling Mom of 5 children (my oldest just turned 6 and my youngest is 7 months) I decided that I probably didn't have the energy or the money to start all over again. Thankfully I read about Simply Music in a homeschooling magazine and I ordered the complete program immediately! I got it last week and have finished the first level. | "Dear Neil, Our son has been learning with Simply Music for some time now and has just begun the reading process. Also, he has recently taken up the cello at school and it is clear that the skills he has learnt from Simply Music are helping him with his cello playing. He already has a good understanding of rhythms, and he has a good sense of the way music is constructed, the way it all works together. So, for example, he has been playing on the cello, composing simple tunes because of what he has been doing with chords on the piano. I am sure that Simply Music has given him the confidence to experiment with his music, to try new things and to create, which I doubt he would have otherwise." |
