In order to view, play, customize and print sheet music over the internet, you will need a special program called Scorch (by Sibelius). This program is a free download, and is very simple to install.
Before you can use Simply Music's sheet music service, you will need to follow these simple steps:

| Download the correct Scorch plugin for your computer for free. This should only take about 2 minutes, the file is just over 1Mb. Check your System Requirements first which are set out below:
| Windows
| Windows XP SP2, Windows Vista 32-bit or Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit, Internet Explorer 7 or later, Mozilla Firefox, 20MB hard disk space.
| Mac OS X
| Mac OS X 10.4.11, Mac OS X 10.5.8 or Mac OS X 10.6 or later, Safari (32-bit mode required on Mac OS X 10.6), Mozilla Firefox 3.6 (not compatible with Firefox 4), 20MB hard disk space. Not currently compatible with Google Chrome.

| | Now you've downloaded the Scorch software onto your computer, you need to install the plugin so that it runs as part of your browser.
| Install Scorch

| | Once you have Scorch working successfully, you can view and listen to your music. You can also change the instrumentation and transpose it into a different key.
