In Levels 4, 5 and 6 students continue to strengthen their musicianship, and add another 25 or so Foundation Program pieces to their repertoire. In addition to this, composition, improvisation, arrangement and accompaniment projects are regularly and routinley being worked on. During this phase we introduce the process of 'fragmenting' which further develops students' ability to work with more complex pieces in the playing-based environment. In addition to this, 2nd-year students typically begin the process of writing and reading music.
